Sleep
WNYC | Clock Your Sleep

Goal was to find out how well you actually sleep.

 

Responsibilites:

  • Authorize the user to use Fitbit's Flex via API

  • Authorize the user to use Jawbone's UP via API

  • Fetch daily sleep data from Flex and UP via API

Pledge

 

WNYC | Pledge

NewYork Public Radio is sustained by generous contributions made by listeners, which forms the single largest source of funding.  The contributions in the Pledges go towards programming. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Build new features to enhance the donor's user experience

  • Maintain and enhance existing pledge features, and quickly resolve issues, if any.

  • Build and Analyze mechanisms for A/B testing, which in turn result in increased revenues.

  • Build and maintain the reporting system to analyze the data

  • Integrate Google Analytics into the application for in-depth analysis.

  • Social Media integration - Facebook, Twitter, Google+

WNYC.org

 

WNYC | Application Servers
 
WNYC are a set of non-profit, noncommercial, public radio stations located in New York City.
 
Responsibilities
  • Build web and mobile platforms integrating  journalism, culture and media.
  • Architect and implement APIs to provide content to users, and mobile applications.
  • Maintain and improve the current custom Search service (provided by Google Custom Search Engine)
  • Analyze and strategize improvements to existing infrastructure at NewYork Public Radio
  • Simultaneously work on multiple projects under deadlines
  • Optimize queries, and refactor code where necessary
